'Probe the issue of NRB governor immediately'

KATHMANDU, July 14: National Assembly member Jag Prasad Sharma has demanded that the government investigate whether M Adhikari of UML's Finance and Planning Department and Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari are the same person.

Speaking during the zero hour of the National Assembly on Thursday, Sharma made the demand. He said that rules, laws, values, mistakes and morality would make society cultured and urged the leaders of the opposition parties to re-embrace the declaration to establish morality without any pressure or agitation.

"The issue is being discussed in the media. UML's Finance and Planning Department's M Adhikari is the same as NRB’s Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari,” he said, “I demand the government probe the issue and bring the truth out.”
