Progress made as per goal: CM Rai

Biratnagar, Aug 13 : Chief Minister of State 1, Sherdhan Rai, has claimed that the State government made the achievement as per its goals in the last fiscal year.



CM Rai said this at the meeting held to review last year progress and to chart plans for the current fiscal year. It is the first meeting of such kind, he said, underscoring that progress must not limit in paper but be tangible. The monitoring and quality check need to the transparent, he added.

 The CM however admitted that remarkable progress was not made for lack of policy and structural arrangements including the shortage of human resources and related laws and directives. He informed that guideline for the implementation of the current fiscal year was prepared.


He directed all concerned officials and ministries in the State to accomplish the signing of contracts for the development projects before mid October, so that the construction of infrastructures would begin immediately from November.


The meeting was attended by the ministers, chief secretary, secretaries, directors and chiefs of various divisions and departments.
