Khotang and Manang are the only districts not to enforce prohibitory orders.



KATHMANDU, May 30: 75 districts are currently under prohibitory orders enforced to curb the further spread of novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Home Affairs, only two districts--Khotang and Manang-- in the country have not enforced prohibitory orders as of May 29. 


Banke district was the first district in the country to enforce prohibitory orders on April 26, followed by Surkhet and Kaski.


Terathum is the latest district to enforce prohibitory orders. With this, 75 of 77 districts are currently under prohibitory orders.


Nepal recorded 4,487 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday. As many as 6,080 COVID-19 patients recovered and 116 succumbed to COVID-19 the same day.
