Projects worth Rs 400 billion are in the pipeline, awaiting IBN’s go-ahead

KATHMANDU, August 18: The Investment Board Nepal (IBN) is in the process of approving projects worth Rs 400 billion.



In its annual report of fiscal year 2020/21 that the IBN presented to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, the board has stated that it approved investment worth Rs 136 billion in various projects in the last fiscal year.

According to the board, among others, the progress reports of Arun-III Hydropower Project and Huaxin Cement are encouraging while Damak Industrial Park, Dang Cement and Samrat Cement are in the process of signing agreements.
