Provident Fund brings attractive offer to its depositors

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: The Employees Provident Fund and Rastriya Beema Sansthan have signed a memorandum of understanding for providing insurance of up to Rs 100,000 for general medical and Rs 1 million for treatment of terminal diseases to the PF depositors.

KATHMANDU, Nov 14: The Employees Provident Fund and Rastriya Beema Sansthan have signed a memorandum of understanding for providing insurance of up to Rs 100,000 for general medical and Rs 1 million for treatment of terminal diseases to the PF depositors. 



Fund's administrator Tulasi Prasad Gautam and Beema Company's Chief Executive Officer Bir Bikram Rayamajhi signed the MoU to this effect. The insurance scheme will come into effect from coming November 17.

With this agreement coming into effect, the depositor will receive Rs 100,000 for medical treatment and get financial assistance up to Rs 1 million as insurance if s/he is gripped by fatal disease. The MoU will remain in effect for coming three years and the duration can be extended on mutual understanding. 


According to the MoU, the premium per annum for each depositor will be Rs 420. RSS
