BIRATNAGAR, Nov 28: Province 1 Governor Somnath Adhikari 'Pyasi' has been diagnosed with coronavirus infection.
The infection was confirmed on Friday night, according to Adhikari’s Press Adviser Khemraj Adhikari. His spouse, Januka Adhikari and an Armed Police Force (APF) personnel deployed for his security also tested positive for the virus.

The Province 1 Chief got his swab samples collected for testing at the Province Public Health Laboratory Biratnagar on Friday morning after he showed some symptoms of COVID-19 infection.
The health condition of the Province Chief and his spouse is normal. They have isolated them at their house Biratnagar.
Provincial Minister for Internal Affairs, Hikmat Karki and Minister for Social Development, Jeevan Ghimire had earlier recovered from the disease.
