Province No 4 State Assembly continues discussions on budget

POKHARA, June 18: The Province No 4 State Assembly continues discussions of the budget for fiscal year 2018/19, presented last week by the province government minister for economic affairs and planning Kiran Gurung.

POKHARA, June 18: The Province No 4 State Assembly continues discussions of the budget for fiscal year 2018/19, presented last week by the province government minister for economic affairs and planning Kiran Gurung. 



Discussions on the budget had started in the State Assembly from Sunday. Assembly members put forth their views on the budget in the meeting today also.

Taking part in the discussions, the state assembly legislators said that the budget has tried to incorporate many topics and sectors including the institutional development of federalism. They stressed on effective implementation of the budget as spelled out in its policies and programmes by the state government. 


They described the budget as the foundation stone for developing the Province 4 as a model province and suggested the province government to incorporate the pertinent topics which have been left out of the budget. 


Twenty eight state assembly members including Krishna Bahadur Thapa, Dhana Maya Lama Pokhrel, Lalit Kala Gurung took part in the discussions in today's meeting. The State Assembly will next meet at 11 am on Tuesday. RSS
