HETAUDA, Feb 1: The first provincial assembly meeting of province-3 has begun in the then office of Central Regional Education Directorate,Hetauda since 1:00 PM.
Following the call from Governor Anuradha Koirala, the meeting of the largest province in terms of representatives has begun.

Dormani Poudel, as the senior most member of the 110-member assembly, has conduct the assembly meeting on the first day which will continue unless the elections of the speaker and deputy speaker take place.
Province 3 has made a history on Thursday when it became the first among seven provinces to hold the assembly meeting. The assembly meeting will pave the way for formation of the provincial governments.
According to the provincial secretariat Roj Nath Pandey, the meeting is aimed to discuss over five specific agendas. It will discuss on the interim working procedure of the assembly and on the date for the election of the speaker and deputy speaker.
