KATHMANDU, Nov 19: Norvic hospital has confirmed the death of Prakash Dahal due to cardiac arrest. Prakash is the son of former Prime Minister and current UCPN Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Prakash Dahal, the central member of Maoist Center was brought to the hospital early morning today at 5:30 AM. However, his heart had stopped functioning hours before being admitted to the hospital.
