Rally held to mark World Day Against Child Labor – 2017

KATHMANDU, June 12: A rally was held on the occasion of the 16th World Day Against Child Labour here in the capital city this morning.

KATHMANDU, June 12: A rally was held on the occasion of the 16th World Day Against Child Labour here in the capital city this morning. 



The rally – organized by the Department of Labour – started from Tinkune and went through Naya Baneshwor and Thapa Gaun before converging into a corner meeting at Maitighar Mandala. 



Under the theme 'In Conflicts and Disasters, Protect Children from Child Labour', the participants in the rally held placards with slogans 'End Child Labour', 'Love Children' and 'Children are future's legacy'. 



On the occasion, Department's Director General, Bhuwan Acharya, said everyone must make effort from their houses to end child labour. RSS
