KATHMANDU, April 15: The Kathmandu District Court has extended seven days remand of one Gopal Sharma arrested on Friday on the charge of murdering a woman.
Sharma has been accused of strangulating a woman (her name is yet to be known) to death on the first floor of New Bhumeshwori and Arjun Guest House at Tokha Municipality-9 in Kathmandu some days ago. The accused and woman had stayed in the hotel on a fateful night.

Following the incident, a team from the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu on Friday arrested fleeing Sharma from Kanchanpur on the same charge.
Sharma has confessed to the crime, said the police, adding that further investigations were on. RSS
