Repair of NAC's narrow body aircraft completed, ready for flight to Bangkok

KATHMANDU, July 1: Repairs of narrow body aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), which experienced brake unit issues, was successfully completed on Friday morning.

KATHMANDU, July 1: Repairs of narrow body aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), which experienced brake unit issues, was successfully completed on Friday morning.



The NAC has confirmed that the aircraft, bearing the Nine N-AKW callsign, is now prepared for its flight to Bangkok. "In the morning, there was a problem with the brakes. However, technicians promptly repaired and released the aircraft. We are pleased to announce that it is now ready for the flight to Bangkok," stated Ramesh Paudel, spokesperson for the NAC.

Amidst NAC's fleet consisting of two wide body and two narrow body aircraft, one of the narrow body aircraft was sent to Hyderabad for maintenance. The absence of this aircraft has resulted in disruptions to the NAC’s regular flights to various destinations over the past week.


NAC has been maintaining regular flight operations to international destinations with its remaining four aircraft.
