KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Nepal Telecom has decided to award two journalists from Republica Daily for their contribution on reporting on telecom.
Issuing a statement, the government-owned telecom company said that it is jointly awarding Santosh Neupane and Santosh Pokharel from Republica Daily for their best reporting on issues related to telecommunication. Bishwas Regmi from Gorkhapatra is also being felicitated with the award along with the journalist duo.

According to Nepal Telecom, it is rewarding them on the occasion of its 100th anniversary of providing telephone services to the public.
The company said that it selected the two journalists based on their reporting about the company's performances and services.
The telecom will hand over the award to the selected journalists on August 13 amid a ceremony.
