MYAGDI, Nov 24: The Nepalese in various foreign countries have provided financial assistance worth around Rs 3.7 million to help set up a revolving fund for Kailash Secondary School at Dewa in Myagdi district.
Principal Shir Bahadur Garbuja said that those hailing from Dewa in the district and now are in the UK, Hong Kong, South Korea and Qatar have contributed to this cause.
According to him, the amount will be spent for quality enhancement of the teaching learning activities of the school where a total of 172 students are studying.
Principal Garbuja shared that a fundraising campaign will be launched to collect further fund so as to set up revolving fund amounting to Rs 10 million.
The revolving fund is expected to help school secure a sustainable source of income for the day to day operation of teaching-learning activities.
A four-room school building is being constructed at the cost of Rs 3.2 million with the financial assistance from the District Education Office, Myagdi. RSS
