KATHMANDU, Sept 14: In association with the Nepal Law Commission, the Ministry of Education (MoE) has been working to draft the Bill of Right to Education.

As per the Nepal Constitution 2016 that provisions education as fundamental rights of citizen, the Bill of the Right to Education is underway, according to the MoE. “In a bid to ensure the rights of people to education, we are working to draft the bill,” said Dr Hari Prasad Lamsal, spokesperson at the MoE. “The first draft has been prepared,” he said. “And the discussion is being held seeking inputs from the stakeholders,” he added.
