RJP-N leader hints at joining Oli-led government if party's key demands are met

KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Leader of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP-N) Mahendra Raya Yadav has said that his party is ready to join the Oli-led government if the party's key demands are met.

KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Leader of Rastriya Janata Party Nepal (RJP-N) Mahendra Raya Yadav has said that his party is ready to join the Oli-led government if the party's key demands are met.



Speaking at the meeting of House of Representatives today, Yadav said that his party is ready to become a coalition partner yet again if the demands including the constitution amendment are met as per the commitment made by the government in the past.


"If the government withdraws criminal cases brought against the leaders and cadres of the Madhes-based political parties including lawmaker Resham Chaudhary, we are ready to join the government," he said.

On the occasion, Yadav also congratulated newly elected speaker of the House of Representatives Agni Sapkota and extended best wishes for his successful tenure.
