SAPTARI, Feb 28: Three people died in an accident in Kanchanrup Municipality of Saptari district this morning. A woman and a man were killed when a horse-carrying Bolero pick-up (Pra 2-02-001Cha 0746) and a Scorpio (Ba 18 Cha 6617) traveling from West to East collided with each other on the east-west highway near Kanchanrup-9 Bishnu Mandir.
According to the Saptari Police, Sanjay Chaudhary, Rajkumari Chaudhary and Hareram Shah of Sunsari's Duhabi Municipality-3 who were traveling in the Scorpio died on the spot.
Two youths killed in Jhapa road mishap
One of the two horses in the Bolero pick-up died on the spot after it ran off and fell on the road. As many as 12 people on board the two vehicles were injured in the accident.
They have been sent to Biratnagar for further treatment after primary treatment at the local Dharmeshwar Hospital in Thelia, Saptari.
