RPP asks NOC reason behind recent price hike

KATHMANDU, June 20: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demanded answers from the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) for the latest fuel price hike.

KATHMANDU, June 20: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has demanded answers from the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) for the latest fuel price hike. 



Submitting a letter on Monday, RPP sought answers to seven questions related to the recent price hike. RPP has asked the NOC to provide information about the amount of fuel provided annually to the most distinguished people of Nepal and the bonus given to the employees of NOC.

How much does the crude oil per liter cost? What is the cost and tax imposed on the refining process? How do you raise the rental rate? How much does the other charges cost or what does it cost? The letter questions. 


On Sunday, the NOC hiked the price of petrol to Rs 199 per liter and diesel by Rs 192 per liter.
