Eight lawmakers from the party did not appear in the Parliament meeting on Sunday, when the parliament was set to discuss on the constitution amendment bill. The lawmakers from the party had gone out of contact unless the meeting was deferred until Thursday.

"The meeting has been discussing whether to withdraw support to the government or not. However, we have not reached to any conclusion," he added.

According to Shrestha, Chairman Thapa informed the meeting that the President has summoned him and the meeting would be resumed in the evening.
