RPP Nepal cadres clash with police in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, March 14: The police have charged batons on the participants of the massive ‘pressure demonstration’ organized by Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal.



On Thursday, there was a clash between leaders and cadres participating in the rally led by Kamal Thapa and the police in Sundhara.

Traffic has become chaotic due to the demonstration. Vehicles going to Lagankhel via Sundhara have been diverted from Ratnapark.


Although the police asked the protestors to walk in one lane, the situation turned into a clash when the participants of the rally tried to move forward through two lanes.


RPP Nepal has started a pressure demonstration in Kathmandu with demands such as restoration of Hindu nation and monarchy, abolition of provincial structure, end of corruption etc.
