BARA, April 3: Ramesh Prasad Kharel from the Rasrtiya Swatantra Party has registered his candidacy for the by-election being held in Bara-2.
Kharel registered his candidacy at the office of the Chief Election Officer established at the District Coordination Committee (DCC) office in Kalaiya.

Chief Electoral Officer Mukesh Upadhyaya has said that Kharel has registered his candidacy with Chandan Saraf as supporter and Mamata Sharma as proposer.
According to Upadhyaya, Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP) Chairman Upendra Yadav, Aam Janata Party's Arun Kumar, Hamro Nepali Party’s Chandra Prakash Subedi, Mukti Yadav from Nepal Workers and Peasants’ Party and two independent candidates, Dhuplal Hazra and Vinod Kumar Karn have registered their candidacies.
