KATHMANDU, Jan 20: On behalf of the ruling coalition, Indira Rana Magal of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has filed her candidacy for the position of deputy speaker.

The meeting of the parliamentary party of RSP held in the morning decided to make Magar the deputy speaker candidate.
Rana's proposer is RSP lawmaker Sobita Gautam. Among the supporters are Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden, CPN-UML's Krishna Gopal Shrestha and Maoist Center's Narayani Sharma.
