BIRATNAGAR, July 22: Rabi Lamichhane, president of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has said that gold being smuggled through the airport might be happening with the setting of certain influential individuals or groups.
During a press conference held in Biratnagar on Saturday, Lamichhane said that it is not possible to bring in such a large amount of gold through the airport and said that everything was done in the setting.

It is not possible to bring in such a large amount of gold from the airport without setting it up. Lamichhane said, "It is necessary to conduct an in-depth investigation to determine who is responsible for setting up this smuggling."
Lamichhane said that the issue of gold smuggling has been uncovered by the government agency. It is too early for the government. He said, "We are not in a rush to respond," Lamichhane said asserting that they will take time to conduct research and investigation and gather appropriate information before responding.
