KATHMANDU, March 5: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has staked claim to four ministries including the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The vice chairman of RSP, Swarnim Wagle said that by making the Ministry of Home Affairs the bottom line, the party will claim at least four ministries.

Vice Chairman Wagle said that the RSP will not give up even if there is someone else's claim to the home ministry. He said that RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane will lead the said ministry.

“The UML may claim but we will not give up our claim to the home ministry. The home ministry is our bottom line," Wagle said. "We have to pay a huge price for collaborating with the old parties. If we don’t get the home ministry, then that is not justified.”

A meeting of the ruling coalition parties on the allocation of ministries is being held this afternoon. Wagle from the RSP will participate in the meeting.

On Monday, DP Aryal became a minister from the RSP in the Cabinet which was reshuffled with participation from the parties of the new ruling alliance. However, the parties are yet to agree on the allocation of ministries among themselves.
