Rupy’s celebrated 38th annual day celebration with the theme ‘Visit Nepal 2020’

The 38th Annual Day Celebration of Rupy’s International School was staged on Wednesday, at Pragya Pratishthan Hall, Kamaladi. According to a press statement released by the school, the Chief Guest of the event, Suraj Vaidya, the Campaign Coordinator of Visit Nepal 2020 accompanied by Dr Ajay Kumar, DCM Indian Embassy, Dawa Steven Sherpa, the  Chief Executive Officer of Astrek Climbing Wall and other dignitaries, presided over the function.



Not only the parents and well wishers but also Principals of Schools of Kathmandu were present to witness the extraordinary presentation. The Principal of RIS, Prem Prakash Sahu highlighted the academic and the co curricular accomplishments of the school in the year 2019- 20.

The theme for this year, Visit Nepal 2020 was depicted through the cultural, historical and geographical beauty of Nepal. The regions of Tarai, Himal and the Mountains almost sprung to life with the students of various levels entertaining the spectators with ethnic dances, songs, plays and orchestra.


The school has always taken everyone by surprise with its innovative ideas to spread awareness about environment, social causes and this time, it has been a national initiative. The credit for conceptualizing such a noble theme goes to the Executive Director of the school Rupy Singh. The team of staff carried it forward with dedication and sincerity as per the press statement.
