KATHMANDU, Oct 17: The Japanese Embassy is organizing a concert to mark the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Nepal and Japan.

The Embassy is going to organise concert 'Sadao Watanabe Jazz Concert' on October 22 and 23 at the Tribhuvan Army Officers' Club, Kathmandu, with an objective of promoting Japan and its traditional as well as contemporary cultures in Nepal. 


It will feature the world renowned Japanese jazz artist, Sadao Watanabe, together with his group which consists of keyboardist Akira Onozuka, guitarist Takashi Yofu, bassist Koichi Osamu, drummer Masaharu Ishikawa and percussionist N'diasse Niang, the Emvassy stated in a press release today.
