Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is known for voicing his opinion for all right things. He not only speaks about relevant subjects related to fraternity but also justifies his point. Recently, the actor has shared his views on Bollywood's obsession with depicting male stalkers.

During an interview with ZoomTV, the actor asserted that how 'male stalker' has almost become a genre in Indian cinema. “Male stalker is almost the genre for Indian cinema and somehow it's always been successful and Shah Rukh Khan made his career on it in the beginning,” the star mentioned.
Elaborating further about how it has become a tendency to deliver the audience what the filmmakers think they want, “And I don't know, it's like a society thing, we have a tendency to give the audience what we feel they want and again, these characters must have trickled down from the West... they must have been because we copy a lot", Saif added.
Giving an example of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Baazigar’ which was a rip off of James Dearden's 'A Kiss Before Dying', the actor averred, “There was a film that became 'Baazigar', it was not an original Indian idea. It's a Western film about a guy who starts bumping off the girls in the family he wants to take revenge from.”
On the work front, Saif will be nest seen in 'Laal Kaptaan' alongside Manav Vij, Zoya Hussain and Deepak Dobriyal. Later in 'Jawaani Jaaneman' alongside Tabu and Alaia Furniturewala and in 'Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior' with Ajay Devgn among others.
