Sakura Night rejuvenates Nepali culture in Japan

TOKYO, May 12: Marking the Golden week, the popular festival of the Japanese, Surya Corporation has organized a cultural program. Sakura Night-2 was organized to revive the Nepali culture among the Nepali living in Japan.



Pramod Kharel, Sandeep Chhetri, Nalina Chitrakar among others popular artists performed during the program. Singer duo Kharel and Chitrakar presented their popular numbers whereas stand up comedian Chhetri made the ambience full of humor.

The program was organized in various cities of Japan. The revenue collected from the program will be handed over to the social organization Manav Sewa Ashram, informed Basudev LaAmichhane, director of Surya Corporation.


Surya Corporation and Grishma Entertainment organize the Nepali cultural show in various cities of Japan each year marking the Golden week that falls in the first week of May.
