Sandeep Lamichhane in Big Bash League Draft

KATHMANDU, August 3: The captain of the Nepali national cricket team, Sandeep Lamichhane, has been drafted for the new season of the Australian Big Bash League (BBL).

KATHMANDU, August 3: The captain of the Nepali national cricket team, Sandeep Lamichhane, has been drafted for the new season of the Australian Big Bash League (BBL).



Lamichhane is the only Nepali player to make it to the draft announced by the BBL for the new season. The Australian Big Bash League draft selection will begin on August 28.

Last season, Sandeep took 14 wickets in 14 matches for the Hobart Hurricanes. From 2018 to 2020, he played for Melbourne Stars for two seasons.


Earlier, Sandeep was signed by Caribbean Premier League (CPL) club Jamaica Tallawahs.
