Sanima Capital Ltd acquires license

KATHMANDU, Sept 4: Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon) has issued a license of securities businessperson (merchant banker) to Sanima Capital Ltd (SCL).

KATHMANDU, Sept 4: Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon) has issued a license of securities businessperson (merchant banker) to Sanima Capital Ltd (SCL).



SCL is the fully-owned subsidiary of Sanima Bank Ltd.



Issuing a statement on Sunday, the merchant banker said it will provide services like issue management, securities underwriting, share registrar, portfolio management and depository participant.



"Sanima Capital, in the near future, will provide fund management and depository services to Sanima Mutual Fund subject to SEBON approval," reads the statement.



Bhuvan Kumar Dahal, CEO of Sanima Bank Ltd, is the chairman of Sanima Capital Ltd while Manish N Joshi is the CEO.
