BIRGUNJ, Dec 10: Sano Paila, a non-governmental organization based in Birgunj, on Friday organized a free eye camp on the occasion of its 10th anniversary.
Hundred and one patients benefited from the eye camp organized near Gawahamai temple with technical support from Drishti Aankha Hospital.

According to Subir Ghosh, communication officer of the organization, Dr Umesh Sharaff, eye specialists Sandeep Adhikari, Basanta Poudel and Purnima Kushuhawa, among other doctors had conducted the camp.
Apart from the eye camp, Sano Paila also organized ‘tanga daud’ (cart race) to mark the anniversary. Sixteen cart racers had participated in the exciting event. Shesh Kalam, Akbar Ahamad Mansuri and Binod Sah secured the top three positions in the race respectively.
