Saudi Ambassador Al-Mawany pays courtesy call on Veep Pun

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: Newly appointed Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Nepal Musaid bin Sulaiman M. Al-Mawany has paid a courtesy call on Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun at the latter’s official residence, Bahadur Bhawan on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, Feb 5: Newly appointed Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Nepal Musaid bin Sulaiman M. Al-Mawany has paid a courtesy call on Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun at the latter’s official residence, Bahadur Bhawan on Tuesday.



 “Nepal has already moved on the path of development prosperity. I would like to request Saudi government to invest in Nepal in various sectors including agriculture, tourism and hydropower,” said Pun.

Meanwhile, Pun informed Ambassador Al-Mawany that Nepal is organizing Visit Nepal 2020 and expressed hope that a lot of tourists will come to Nepal during the event.


Al-Mawany, in the meeting, said that the relation between the two counties is getting friendlier.


Saudi diplomat said his country is always ready to extend help for the development and prosperity of the Himalayan nation.
