KATHMANDU, Aug 27: The Supreme Court (SC) on Sunday ordered the government to produce Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma, the spokesman of the Maoist party led by Netra Bikram Chand within 24 hours.

A single bench of justice Kedar Prasad Chalise issued the order on Sunday in response to a habeas corpus petition filed by Birendra Bishwakarma, a relative of Khadga Bahadur demanding his release.
This is the third order by the apex court in relation to the detention of Bishwakarma as the government has been arresting him on one after another charge.
