KATHMANDU, August 3: The Supreme Court (SC) has rejected a writ petition demanding the formation of a high-level investigation against Finance Minister Janardan Sharma.



The Supreme Court Administration rejected the writ petition by the Consumers’ Interest Protection Forum demanding a high-level investigation against Finance Minister Sharma for his alleged role in allowing unauthorized persons to become part of the budget making process.

Registrar of the Supreme Court Narayan Prasad Panthi said that the writ petition was rejected as it was brought without completing the due process.
