SCBA election begins

KATHMANDU, July 9: Voting for the election of a new working committee of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has begun. The election is taking place at premises of the Nepal Bar Association.

KATHMANDU, July 9: Voting for the election of a new working committee of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has begun. The election is taking place at premises of the Nepal Bar Association. 



Election Committee Coordinator Raju Basnet said that voting for the 15-member new working committee including five office-bearers has begun a while ago.

Voting process would be concluded till 2:00 pm and vote counting would be started from 3:00 pm, added Banset. The Election Committee has planned to conclude vote counting till 7:00 pm. There are 580 voters. 


Lawyer Ram Prasad Bhandari is representing the Progressive Group while Shailendra Kumar Dahal has been representing the Democratic Group for the election. RSS
