Second edition of ‘Mount Everest Fashion Runway’ to be held on September 22

KATHMANDU, July 20: The second edition of ‘Mount Everest Fashion Runway’ is set to be held on September 22. The show will be attended by celebrity models from different countries of the world including Nepal. The organizers have a plan to bring international celebrities to Nepal by adhering to the health standards.

KATHMANDU, July 20: The second edition of ‘Mount Everest Fashion Runway’ is set to be held on September 22. The show will be attended by celebrity models from different countries of the world including Nepal. The organizers have a plan to bring international celebrities to Nepal by adhering to the health standards.



In a statement issued by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), CEO Dhananjay Regmi said that the program would add a new dimension to Nepal's mountain tourism at a time when NTB is putting forward separate plans for the promotion of tourism in Nepal's mountains, hills and Tarai.

Stating that the world community understands Nepal as a seasonal tourist destination, he said that the program to be organized in September would convey the message that Nepal is a tourist destination for all age groups and all seasons. He added that the NTB would continue with other promotion works as soon as the situation eases.


According to the organizers, the program will be organized in collaboration with K Films and ME Two Films.


The first edition of the Fashion Runway was organized in January, 2020. The event set the Guinness World Record for the highest altitude fashion show.
