KATHMANDU, March 6: The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology have said Secondary Education Examination (SEE) would be held on the scheduled date- March 19 this year.
The Ministry made it clear amidst reports in media and on social networking sites that the test has been postponed due to coronavirus fear.
SEE exams to be held as scheduled from Thursday
Stating on Friday, Ministry's Spokesperson Dipak Sharma said the test would take place on the scheduled date, dismissing the reports as rumors.
Saying that the Ministry was closely assessing and analyzing the situation caused by coronavirus fear, any further decision regarding SEE would be out through the Ministry's authorized website, read the statement.
Earlier, the Ministry had directed the schools to complete examinations of Grade One to Nine before March 18 amidst virus fear.
