KATHMANDU, March 2: Shree Bhagwati Club and Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) have started the second round of the ongoing Martyr’s Memorial ‘B’ Division League with wins in Lalitpur on Friday.
At the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) Complex at Satdobato, Shree Bhagwati has moved to the top of the table with a 4-3 win over Satdobato Youth Club, while RCT is second based on goal difference as it defeated Tusal Youth Club 2-1.
Mohan Bahadur Thapa Magar hit a hat-trick for Bhagwati, and Bhuwan Basnet added a goal. Despite taking a 3-0 lead in the first half, Bhagwati could not continue its dominance in the second period and went on to concede three goals.

Magar had completed a first half hat-trick scoring in the third, the 21st and the 36th minute, while Satdobato made it 3-2 with goals in the 61st minute by Dorje Tamang and in the 71st minute by Prithivi Chaudhary, and Aash Bahadur Gurung equalized for Satdobato in the 86th minute. Bhagwati went on to win the game with a goal in the 89th minute from Basnet.
In the other game played on the same day, RCT saw off Tusal 2-1 to register an emphatic win over a competitive side. A brace from
Unam Budathoki helped RCT get the win, while Karan Rawat pulled a goal back for Tusal.
RCT took the lead through Budathoki in the 31st minute, but Rawat equalized for Tusal in the 76th minute. Budathoki’s brace eight minutes from time gave the win for RCT.
