KATHMANDU, April 4: Singer Rajesh Payal Rai was arrested last night on charges of rioting after drinking alcohol.
AIG Deepak Thapa of Kathmandu Valley Police Office said that three people including Rajesh Payal Rai were arrested in front of Madan Bhandari College and kept in Police Circle, New Baneshwar.

Last night, the police arrested 172 individuals from all over the Kathmandu valley. Most of them have been released to their families.
The police are now making arrangements to hand over Rajesh Payal Rai to his relatives.
