Social media blasts President over “Mero Sarkar”

KATHMANDU, May 3: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has courted controversy on social media for calling the Nepal Government 'Mero Sarkar' (My government) during her speech at the Federal Parliament while unveiling the government's policies and programs for the fiscal year 2019-20.

KATHMANDU, May 3: Social media has blasted President Bidya Devi Bhandari for calling Nepal Government 'Mero Sarkar' (My Government) during her speech at the Federal Parliament while unveiling the government's policies and programs for the fiscal year 2019-20.




The president repeatedly called 'Mero Sarkar' during her address that lasted for nearly two hours in the parliament.
