The Dallu resident found a way to balance art and his law studies during his early college life. Nonetheless, he had enough of the latter in his second year of college. He explained that advocacy even compelled the practitioners of law to take the side of the guilty party in exchange for fees.


Therefore, he dropped law and pursued art full time in Lalitkala Campus. Pradhan says, “I am a practitioner artist, it’s just my way of living.” Explaining his motive behind capturing the essence of Mangal Bazar in his current endeavor, he said, “We didn’t make these heritage sites, but it falls upon us to preserve them.”
