Souls of My City: My precious

“My children are precious for me and I’d give up my life’s earnings to fulfill their needs. My 11-year-old daughter Nooha is suffering from a heart disease. It hurts me to see her in such a troubled state,” said Manmaya Limbu 35, from Panchthar.

My precious

“My children are precious for me and I’d give up my life’s earnings to fulfill their needs. My 11-year-old daughter Nooha is suffering from a heart disease. It hurts me to see her in such a troubled state,” said Manmaya Limbu 35, from Panchthar. Limbu is a housewife and she has five kids. “First, we went to Jhapa for my daughter’s treatment, but she caught pneumonia on the way. So, we had to rush her Kathmandu for the better health care facilities. My child is so sick that she can barely move her hands.” Manmaya said she wanted to return to Panchthar as soon as her baby girl is treated, and live a happy life there.
