Not by choice

“I work hard not for myself but for my family,” said 32-year-old artisan Subarna Bajracharya from Pinchhe, Patan. He studied management in high school because he wanted to pursue CA studies in the future. However, he had to quit school at the age of 18 due to financial problems. “I started working as a stone carver since I was 18 years old. Though I could not afford to study, I want to give my son the best education available,” said Bajracharya.
