BIRATNAGAR, April 18: The special session of the Koshi Province Assembly has commenced at 1:00 PM today.
The special session is scheduled to begin today as more than one-fourth of the Koshi Province Assembly members had furnished their request in writing on April 8 demanding the special session.

Spokesperson for the Office of the Province Chief, Narendra Kumar Shrestha, said Province Chief Parshuram Khapung summoned the special session today as per Article 183 (3) of the Constitution of Nepal.
