Student organizations encircle DEOs across nation

KATHMANDU, April 25: Students from different organizations affiliated to the Unified Students' Organization today have encircled the district education offices across the country citing that the government failed to implement the decision of withdrawing the increased fees by private schools.

KATHMANDU, April 25: Students from different organizations affiliated to the Unified Students' Organization today have encircled the district education offices across the country citing that the government failed to implement the decision of withdrawing the increased fees by private schools.

Nepal Students Union president Nain Singh Mahar said that Education Minister Dhaniram Poudel had committed to have the hiked fees retracted but it was yet to be implemented therefore they were compelled to protest for the implementation of the previous decision in this regard. 


The student organizations had demonstrated in front of the DEOs across the country from 10 am to 12 pm demanding the fee hike decision be withdrawn, to fix scientific fees and make regular monitoring at private schools. RSS
