PANCHTHAR, June 20: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Tuesday arrested a Sub-engineer of District Education Office, Panchthar with Rs 125,000 in bribe.
Acting on a tip-off, an anti-graft body deployed from CIAA Regional Office, Itarahi caught Sub-engineer Manoj Kumar Yadav from a school while receiving the bribe.

However the name of the school has been kept secret.
It has been learnt that Yadav was caught with the bribe he was receiving for school building’s construction.
A provision has it that the government has to bear 70 percent expenses and the locals 30 percent expenses for the construction of the school building.
Yadav is alleged to have taken the bribe in the course of constructing a four-room school building at the cost of Rs 2.4 million.
Preparations are underway to take Yadav to CIAA Regional Office, Itahari for investigation.
