KATHMANDU, May 2: The chief minister (CM) of Sudurpaschim Province, Dirgha Bahadur Sodari, is scheduled to take a vote of confidence in the provincial assembly on Friday.
According to the Province Assembly Secretariat’s Information Officer Yuwaraj Jaishi, CM Sodari has summoned a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee on the same day, prior to seeking the vote of confidence.

The Province Assembly meeting is convening at 5:00 PM.
Sodari was appointed as the chief minister on April 18 with the support of the CPN-UML, Maoist Center, NUP, and an independent provincial assembly member along with the CPN (Unified Socialist).
