KATHMANDU, Feb 23; The Dahal-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has said that the Supreme Court has fulfilled its responsibility of safeguarding the constitution by reinstating parliament dissolved by Prime Minister K P Oli two months ago.



In his brief comment on the verdict of the Supreme Court to reinstate parliament, NCP Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha said the verdict has helped to safeguard the constitution and democracy in Nepal. “The Supreme

Spokesperson Shrestha also said that the historic verdict has helped to thwart the attempt of Prime Minister Oli to push the country into a dark tunnel. “The verdict has helped to save the country from falling into a dark tunnel. This is the victory of the Nepali people. This is a victory of the constitution,” he said.
