Suu Kyi stresses boosting Nepal-Myanmar trade

KATHMANDU, Nov 29: State Counsellor of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has said that trade relations between Nepal and Myanmar should be promoted.

KATHMANDU, Nov 29: State Counsellor of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has said that trade relations between Nepal and Myanmar should be promoted. 



Addressing the 'Nepal Chamber Expo-2018' organised by Nepal Chamber of Commerce at local Bhrikutimandap, the distinguished guest Suu Kyi said that activities related to economic development and prosperity could be run by utilizing human resources of both countries. 



She expressed the view that the two countries' economy could be made strong by increasing investment in agriculture, hydropower and technical sectors, urging the Nepali entrepreneurs to invest in Myanmar. 



On a different note, leader Suu Kyi said that she has old emotional relational with Nepal, adding that she will always respect and love Nepal and Nepalis.
