Swastima Khadka and ‘Tattini’ secure titles at SAARC Film Festival

Actor Swastima Khadka and filmmaker Abinash Bikram Shah bagged awards during the closing ceremony of SAARC Film Festival held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on July 7.

Swastima won the award for the performance in her movie ‘Bulbul’, while Abinash’s ‘Tattini’ grabbed the award for special recognition.


The actor, Khadka took her Instagram to share the award with her followers. “Nepal, this one is for you. The best performer of the year 2019. #saarcfilmfestival #Bulbul,” she wrote with posting a picture of holding an award. Her fellow actor friend, Priyanka Karki also commented, “Congratulations baby girl (heart emoji). So deserving!”


Aside ‘Bulbul’ and ‘Tattini’, movies such as ‘Prasad’, ‘Hari’, Manoj Babu Panta’s short film ‘The Remains’ were also selected at the film festival.
